Watch as your tap pumps out a non-stop stream of water, flowing around and around in a continuous stream, just like magic.
It makes a great science project for kids who have a thirst for learning, as they discover simply ways to use and preserve water!
Everything you need to build your tap is included in the kit, you will simply need a small Phillips head screwdriver to fasten the battery compartment.
If you prefer, you can remove the water tap and replace it with the rocket template card included. It will look like the rocket is launching as water pours from it's engine!
Place your tap up against a fish tank or a wall to create a fascinating illusion and decorative display!
How does it work?
- Using 2 x AAA batteries (not included), a motor will operate inside the motor module, which turns a small water pump.
- Your pump will move water from the water container into a hidden transparent tube leading to the illusionary water tap.
- The water comes back out of the tap and pours into the water container at the base, flowing around in a continuous cycle.
- The water falling from the tap hides the clear centre pipe, so it looks like your tap is simply floating in mid-air!
- The illusion of levitation is created by using a chain that's too short to reach the tap, but reaches just far enough to be held by a hidden magnet inside the tap.
Recommended for ages 8 and up (adult assistance required).
